  • Understand and practice the QA process to manage product quality and reduce product risk.
  • Study the PRD, OSA and DSA, if any.
  • Proactively in internal and external communication, liaise with PM, PD, DEVs and QAs on the requirements, identify risk in the process and provide the solution if have any, test execution progress and issue found during test execution, as well as third party for integration process if there’s any.
  • Write up for test plan, test strategies, test analysis, test cases creation & execution.
  • Test cases design should include end to end testing, system integration testing, support UAT (internal / external).
  • App UI navigation on both iOS & Android platform, to ensure both design and behavior are standardized & consistent unless there’s platform limitation.
  • Capable to utilize tools provided (as below) for troubleshooting & test cases execution.
  • Manual regression test cases execution.
  • Automation test cases creation, troubleshooting, execution & maintenance.
  • Defect management, i.e. raise the defect, provide detailed steps to simulate, follow up closely the rectification progress with developer, request the developer to provide the root cause & resolution and your proof of verification.
  • Compatibility test - check for different size of phones (Big, Medium & Small) – may request the developer to provide their phone model for delivery test cases execution.
  • Hotfix – Liaise with A+ and ABL designated person for deployment in SIT / Sandbox environment to perform testing. Request the correct app package to perform testing.
  • Performance test – script & data preparation, smoke test, execution & reporting, if required.
  • Rotate to be scrum master for each sprint.
Skillset Requirements
  • At least a Diploma and / or Bachelor Degree’s in Computer Science / Computer Engineering.
  • Knowledge of testing methodology and principles is required
  • Familiar with any automated software testing tool would be an added advantageous
  • Good understanding of Java programming languages and having the interest to do coding is preferred.
